Adventures with Nature

I felt a little bad that my child's only real exposure to wildlife are the birds in parking lots, so I decided to take Sarah to feed the ducks on Thursday.

She needs to work on her throwing but she had enthusiasm.

Saturday we went to the Bean Museum at BYU. Sarah went crazy. If she's this excited about dead animals, just wait til we go to the zoo. But I think she liked having room to run rather than the actual animals.

I don't remember what kind of animal this is, but I liked it enough to get my picture taken with it.

Sarah liked it too.

"Sarah, where are his eyes?"

This was a hit with all the toddlers.

She really used her arms stretched out to round this corner. It was hilarious.

I wish I was taking video of this. Right when Justin sat her down, she roared quietly at the tiger.

I'm a little creeped out by the lion head on the ground, but it seems that Sarah is not. She's a brave little girl.

You should take Sarah to the Springville Zoo (aka Carlyn Hall's house). Bekah and I would walk there from her house and let the kids throw food at the pigs and chickens. It's fun and only a little scary.
